PCR was founded by the former Chairman, President and CEO of the McGraw Hill Companies, together with the founder of Loan Pricing Corporation (now a subsidiary of Reuters PLC).

Joseph L. Dionne — Chairman and Co-Founder

Mr. Dionne retired as Chairman, President and CEO of The McGraw Hill Companies. He also served as a director for several large companies, including AXA Financial (Equitable, Alliance Capital, Sanford Bernstein), Harris Corp., Sprint and Ryder. Formerly a member of the Boards of Trustees of Columbia Teachers College and Hofstra University, Mr. Dionne also served as chairman of the Tri-State United Way and spearheads several philanthropic endeavors in Connecticut.

Under Mr. Dionne's leadership, McGraw Hill published the first Corporate Privacy Policy, defining the privacy obligations of companies to their customers. Mr. Dionne led many other initiatives that have formed the rules by which information companies behave in the web environment.

Mr. Dionne holds B.A. and M.S. degrees from Hofstra University and earned his Doctorate in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Christopher L. Snyder — Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

Mr. Snyder founded Loan Pricing Corporation in 1985 and sold it to Reuters in 1994. Like PCR, Loan Pricing Corporation is a proprietary database company focused on a large, complex, fragmented, price inefficient market. LPC has emerged as a global information authority on the corporate lending market. After selling LPC, Mr. Snyder served as a special research consultant to JPMorgan, where he built the first Wall Street research department focused on the global syndicated loan marketplace.

Earlier, Mr. Snyder was Group Vice President for DRI/Standard & Poors. From 1973 to 1975, he was Vice President and Deputy Director, Management Science at Chase Manhattan Bank. He also served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon as a Captain in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Snyder received his Ph.D. in economics and statistics from Lehigh University, where he was an NDEA fellow. He also studied mathematics and finance under a graduate scholarship at New York University.

He is on the Board of Directors for Arts for Healing and has served on the boards of Building with Books and The New Canaan Foundation.
